Whoa! November, where did you go? The cold weather and turkey overdose must have kicked me into hibernation mode because it seems like just last week we were playing a silly RPG game about summer camp. Instead I’m dreading the prospect of digging the Christmas tree out of the closet.
Oh well! November is overrated anyway. Or is it? I don’t recall many people ranking it too high on their lists of months now that I think about it. It’s usually relegated to abstaining from shaving and… other things. A gimmick month is what it is.
If November passed you by like it did me than you may have missed all the awesome we talked about on the Grawlix Podcast and Grawlix Cinematic Universe. Fortunately for your turkey chomping, no-shaving self we’ve compiled a list our November episodes.
From gender changing Timelords to genre-bending cowboy comics and “when flying things attack” thrillers to man-child comedies, it’s a wild and varied bunch of topics this month! ALSO! Fresh off his wrestling podcasting retirement announcement we were joined by Dustin Smothers for his third guest appearance on a Grawlix show.

Grawlix Podcast #80: East of West Vol. 1
2018-11-19
This month’s Poll List review is East of West Vol. 1, written by Jonathan Hickman with art by Nick Dragotta. This genre-blending comic book certainly sets a tone for Thanksgiving.
GCU #16: The Birds & The Deadly Bees
2018-11-12
Birds of a feather… KILL together! We don’t mean to be a buzz kill but its time to have a talk. THE talk. The talk about The Birds, the 1963 Alfred Hitchcock avian assault classic, and The Deadly Bees, the less than buzzworthy 1966 bee-themed murder mystery.
GCU #17: Big & Jack
2018-11-26
The Grawlix Cinematic Universe treehouse may be creaking under the weight of two full grown man-children but fortunately, there is room for one more. This episode we discuss Big (1988), starring Tom Hanks, and the Francis Ford Coppola directed Jack (1996), starring Robin Williams.
